These earbuds are one of the latest releases from Oraimo. The earbuds case is totally different from the normal earbuds cases that you know. The case comes with a slide mechanism, all you have to do is to slide it open. It’s a waterproof earbud, which makes it perfect for workouts and its comfort level is second to none.
The earbuds can stay for a long in your ears without you experiencing any discomfort. There are a few tips and tricks any Oraimo Freepods 4 user must know and these tips aren’t difficult to understand, just follow our steps to get it done. Let’s get to it.
Find My Earbuds Feature
The first Oraimo Freepods 4 I will be sharing with you is the find my earbuds feature you can do that by using your phone. This feature is pretty important as you can misplace your earbuds without knowing where you place them. This feature can help you locate and find your earbuds for you. Please note, that the earbuds must be connected to your phone before you can use them to find the earbuds.
Also note that the Oraimo Freepods 4 has auto turn off within two minutes, so if you can find the earbuds within two minutes the earbuds will shut down and you won’t be able to find it. With that said let’s go see how to use your phone to find the Oraimo Freepods 4.
- Go to your Bluetooth settings, find the device on your paired list, and select the gear icon.
- On the next page, you are going to see Find device, make sure the device is connected to your phone before you can find it.
- Then select the found device. On the next page, you are going to see the earbuds( both the left and right earbuds) icon on your phone screen.
- To find the earbuds you can tap on either the ring left or ring right. Anyone you select, you are going to hear a dialing sound.
- Once you’ve found them, select mute on both earbuds to stop the dialing sound.
You can also use the last known location to find the earbuds, however, the GPS or Location is required to achieve this. You will also need the Find My Device app to be able to find the missing earbuds. When all this are in place, just follow the instruction on your phone screen.
How To Reset The Oraimo Freepods 4
The next tip we are going to be learning is how to reset the Oraimo Freepods 4. Resetting the earbuds is pretty simple. Bring out the earbuds from the case and align them together. Then tap the earbuds four times both will immediately blink white color and you will notice one blinking red and green, this shows that you have successfully reset the earbuds. You can now go ahead and connect it to your phone. That’s how you can rest the Oraimo Freepods 4, so anytime you wish to reset them just follow these steps.
How To Rename The Oraimo Freepods 4
You can actually rename the Oraimo Freepods 4 to any name you wish to change it to. How to get this done, lets go learn how. Go to your Bluetooth setting and select the Oraimo Freepods 4 gear icon, this should take you to a new page. On this page, select the rename option on your phone, here you can input the name you want the Freepod 4 to be born. After you have done this, select rename and the default name will change to the name you rename the device to. Ok, let’s get to the next one.
How To Tweak The Oraimo Freepods 4 Sound
To tweak the Oraimo Freepods 4 to sound better, you will need to install the Oraimo Sound App. Sign up and connect the app to the Freepods. Then select the Equalizer(EQ), the next page will show you the EQ graph of the Oraimo Freepods 4. Here you can tweak the sound quality of the Oraimo Freepods 4 to sound the way you want it to. Please note do not overdo, the bass and the sub bass so as to prevent the earbuds from sounding moody.
How To Add Volume Settings To The Oraimo Freepods 4
Another feature of the Freepods 4 that makes it stand out from other Oraimo earbuds is the ability to add volume settings. To also do this, you will need the Sound App. On the sound app, select earbud control, when you select earbuds control, you are going to see the left and the right earbuds, then below you will see None.
Select the None option, when you select the option, it’s going to bring up the function Music Control and Volume Control. You can actually select any of the options you want changes to. However, here we will be selecting the volume option. After selecting the volume control option, you will notice a few instructions on how to control the volume of the earbuds. The instruction includes;
- Tap on the earbuds to decrease the volume
- Double tap to increase volume and,
- Triple tap to do nothing

How To Change The Oraimo Sound App Language
Now for those of you who wish to change the language of the Oraimo Sound App, you are free to do so. However, the app only supports three languages that are English, French, and Arabic. So to change to your preferred language, select the setting icon, now select language, and you will see this language available, select any you wish to change it to. When you’ve selected the language you want, select save to save the language. The Sound App language will immediately change to the language you selected.

To update the earbuds all you need is the Sound App. Please make sure the earbuds are connected to your phone before you begin the update and let the earbuds be in their case.
