The New Age Beat King comes in a nice colorful box. I won’t deny it, I love the pattern of the box it’s pretty, just hope the earbuds will be too. Opening up the box, you’re welcomed with a user manual, a charger, extra ear tips, and finally the Beat King earbuds. That’s pretty much all you get in the box.

New Age Beat King First Impression And Build-Up Quality

Out of the box, the Beat King charging case looks sleek. It sports a simple design and a shining surface. Mere looking you can tell that the case was made from a good quality material. It’s small in size and can slide into your pocket with no stress. It has the New Age brand name at the top. You have the charging port on the left side of the case and an LED indicator close to the opening point.

Now to the earbuds, the Beat King earbuds have a sleek and modern design. There is an LED indicator on both earbuds and the touch controls at the top. The earbuds are a little bigger than the ones being used to. I experience certain pain after using it for a long period. This might be due to my small ear space. For those with normal ears, it shouldn’t be much of a problem.

However, if you are used to Oraimo earbuds, you might not fancy the size of these earbuds. The earbuds also have water-resistant features, which makes them withstand sweat and water splashes. However, I will urge you to avoid heavy downpours so as not to damage them.

New Age Beat King Sound Quality

Coming to the sound section, the New Age Beat King earbuds come with impressive audio quality. During our test, we played different genres of music using the earbuds and it delivered. The bass quality is great, if you love punchy bass, these earbuds might be good for you Even at a low volume, you can still hear the bass quality. The vocals and other instruments can also be heard. When you consider that the Beat King earbuds are in-ear earbuds you should have no doubt why they should have that kind of bass quality. The Active Noise Cancellation works well. It canceled every noise from the environment.

You won’t get any kind of disturbance when listening to your favorite music. There is a good and bad factor in this one. Though it cancels out all the noise and makes you concentrate on listening it’s not a good earbud to use on a busy street. Unless you will use them at a minimal volume to avoid any form of accident, you know what I mean. But on a serious note, the sound is great.

New Age Beat King Call Quality

Because of the ANC features the New Age Beat King earbuds come with a good call quality. But it isn’t a surprise since most earbuds with ANC always have good call quality. The built-in mic help to deliver a good conversation with the other person at the end of the call. You can pick up calls or make one in any environment you find yourself in since the ANC help to suppress any kind of disturbance from your surroundings. For the call quality, I give it an 8/10 rating.

Battery Capacity And Performance

Both earbuds come with a 30mAh battery capacity and an additional 300mAh from the case. You get a total of 18 hours of playtime but this largely depends on the volume range. Recharging the earbuds take about 4 hours to get to 100%.

Connectivity And Controls

The Beat King earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.0 which makes connection between the earbuds and your device fast and seamless. It takes a few seconds to establish a connection between the earbuds and whatever you want to connect them to. Beat King earbuds are widely compatible, you can connect them to Androids, tablets, iPhones, laptops, and more. It has a very good range.

The connection range is about 10m, so within this range, you won’t have any connection problems but beyond this, you will start to experience little distortion. And for gaming, New Age claimed the earbuds have low latency, I agree for video streaming and low graphics games but for high graphics, they aren’t that good. You will experience latency when you use them for high-graphics games. The controls are located on the earbuds which you already know. They are high-sensitivity touch controls, a tap on them you get a little beep sound to confirm the operation. You can pick calls, pause/play audio, etc without using your phone.

The New Age Beat King earbuds are good buds for anyone in search of cool earbuds with nice sounds. The design is good and the ANC features added a lot to these earbuds.
