The earbud has a compact form factor and it can be carried around easily in a pocket or bag. It has a round clamshell charging case. The case has a matte finish which makes it prone to stains and smudges. It charges through a USB C port with an LED indicator beside the charging port to show you if it’s charging or not. The lid opens nicely when you open the charging case to take out the earbuds. And when you close it, it sounds securely which sometimes I play with it. All these on a cheap oraimo earbud, what more can you ask for?!
At the top, there is an Oraimo branding with a glossy finish. And it also has a glossy finish at the bottom. There are magnets inside the charging case that hold the earbuds firmly so they don’t fall out. Even if you turn it upside down, they sits there as if they are glued to the case.
The earbuds are in-ear or stemless style design and they are comfortable in the ear. During my testing, I must confess they are extremely lightweight and fit perfectly in the ear. And if you have any issue with ear tips that comes with it, you still have 2 extra eartips that you can change with. You can use them to run or exercise and they will stay firm. To the bullet shape or stemless design earbuds, they fit snugly in the ears. This is something you will love if you don’t like the stem design.
Choosing the right ear tips will also help you manage sound leaks. So, you can achieve a kind of noise cancellation with these set of true wireless earbuds. Though, it has NO noise cancellation feature. The buds also have an IPX7 water resistance rating and they can be submerged in the water for thirty minutes. It has minimal latency especially when you turn on gaming mode. Oraimo surprised me by adding gaming mode to a cheap wireless earbud. When you switch to the gaming mode successfully, you will hear a voice prompt will let you know if it is switch to gaming mode.
Mind you, gaming mode will always reduce how long the battery will last you in a session. So, use the gaming mode only when you need it. This, I think, you need to be aware of.

When it comes to the battery life of the oraimo airbuds 3, each earbud has 35 mAh while the charging case comes with a 330mAh battery. You should expect at least 5 hours of battery from the earbuds (music only) which are enough for me. The Oraimo Airbuds 3 can last for up to seven hours also if you use it on a lower volume. If you combine the buds and the charging case you can get at least 10 hours of listening time.
And if you need to use your buds quickly but they are out of power, you can charge them up fast. How? You asked. You can charge the buds for ten minutes and they will give you 80 minutes of listening time. I tested it and it worked. Overall, the battery is great and it is one of the best features of the buds.
