Price And Availability
The Oraimo BoomPop 2 is available on the Oraimo e-shop and it goes for ₦23,600 and in Kenya you can get it for KES3,100. And if you are in Ghana you can get it for ₵225. Please don’t forget to use the discount code BRACKET to get 5% off and you can use the code for much as you want. You can also use it anytime you want to purchase other Oraimo products.
Design And Build
The Oriamo BoomPop 2 comes dressed in black with a nice green accent, these color combination makes it cool and fashionable. This didn’t come with the light show you have on the Oraimo BoomPop, so for those who love the RGB light show might not fancy this that much. But am telling you the headsets are nice looking.
I don’t think other headsets in this price range would be able to compete with the BoomPop 2 when it comes to appearance. It comes built with plastic all around which helps contribute to it being lightweight.
You can have the headsets on for longer periods without experiencing any problems or fatigue. The ear cups are made from a soft PU that helps enhance comfort and longer use. It comes with a metal headband which can be extended to have a fit. I love the fact that you can rotate and fold the ear cups, this helps the headset to fit into the ears perfectly, and when you need to place it into your bag, you can go ahead and fold it.
The Type-C charging port, an LED indicator, the mic, and the 3.5mm head jack can all be found on the right ear cup of the headset. Also on the right ear cup, you get an on/off power button and three media control buttons. Overall, the BoomPop 2 has a good design and a premium look.

Oraimo Boom Pop 2 Sound Quality
The BoomPop 2 comes equipped with a 40mm driver, and the headset is designed to help give an unparalleled sound quality. For a budget headphone, this produces an impressive sound, it helps produce an impressive punchy bass and nice crisps and mids. You can hear each instrument very clearly and the sound quality of the vocals is impressive.
If you are the type that loves songs with thumping bass, the headsets will help you produce that unique sound. It is compatible with the Oraimo sound app, which gives you the liberty to tweak the sound EQ to your liking or you can choose to go with the already pre-installed EQs. Also when you crack up the volumes you will hardly notice any distortion in the sound which is very common in most budget-friendly headphones.
However, there is a fair amount of sound leakage when you turn up the volume, you will be disturbing those near you with what you are listening to. I thought Oraimo would rectify this issue because we also experienced that on the BoomPop. So please Oraimo on your next headphone, please rectify this issue of sound leakage and add ANC this will be cool.

How Long Does The Oraimo Boom Pop 2 Last?
It comes with a massive battery capacity of 500mAh which Oraimo claimed is capable of 60 long hours. In our review we found the claims to be accurate, however, we tested on a moderate volume level. But if you are the type that always cracks up the volume of your headset, this might not last you for 60 hours. My guess will be 45 to 50 hours which is pretty cool when you consider the price.
The Type-C charging port comes with Anifast technology, which means on a 15-minute quick charge, you can get 10 hours of playback. So you don’t need to wait for the headphones to be fully charged to jam to your favorite music. The battery life is decent for me and I will rate this 8/10.
Connectivity And Game Mode
The Oraimo BoomPop 2 comes equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 and comes with a transmission range of 10 meters. The first connection is within minutes but subsequent connections are within seconds. The connection is quite stable and it’s widely compatible with most devices. This means you can connect it to Androids, Tablets, iPhones, and even laptops. Another benefit you get from this headset is the fact that it supports dual connection.
This means you can connect it to two devices at the same time, this helps you not to miss any calls while playing games or listening to music on another device. Because of its low latency feature, it syncs audio and visuals perfectly with little or no lagging which makes it good for gaming and online streaming.
It’s perfect with less demanding graphics but you experience lagging when you used to play fast-paced games or high graphics. You switch on game mode on the sound app. Furthermore, if you run out of battery, you can use the AUX cable to establish a connection between the headset and your device, this allows you to continue to jam to your favorite songs.
Call Quality
When it comes to quality, the BoomPop 2 is one of the best in the market. Its microphone is placed close to the mouth and also comes equipped with ENC, this helps suppress the background noise and helps give you excellent call quality. One thing to note is that you won’t be disturbed when having the calls indoors.
However, if you are outdoors, you will experience some difficulties, this is because you might be disturbed by some of the noise from the surroundings. The headset is perfect for both normal calls and online calls.

Verdict
So, would I recommend the Oraimo Boom Pop 2? In a heartbeat! For the price, it’s an absolute steal. You get gut-punching bass, surprisingly well-rounded sound, monstrous battery life, and a stylish design that won’t break the bank.
Sure, the controls could be a tad more refined, and the call quality isn’t perfect, but for casual listeners and bass enthusiasts on a budget, the Boom Pop 2 delivers a sonic boom that’ll leave you grinning from ear to ear.
Please don’t forget to use the code BRACKET to get a 5% discount on the headset. The code is valid in Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana, let me know what you think of this headset in the comment section and if you be getting one.
