Design And Build Quality
The Oraimo Freepods Neo comes in a small and compact case. The case can easily slide into your Jean pocket with ease. Its case comes with a transparent top, with this you can see the buds well seated in the case. The case is made from a nice plastic material and has a matte finish. I don’t know how durable the case is so make sure not to drop it. At the front of the case is an LED indicator that glows when you open or close the case.
It also glows when pairing or when the battery is low. Also at the front is the Oraimo brand name. At the bottom of the case, you have the Type-C charging interface. Moving on to the earpods, they come with half an ear design which explains why we couldn’t get any extra ear tips. The build quality looks premium and in particular, I love the translucent design. This allows you to see the inner components of the earpods.
The pods are a bit lightweight and sit in the ear perfectly. But at first, those with smaller ears might struggle a bit to get it right. Are they comfortable? Yes, they are comfortable to use. You can have them on for a lengthy period. However, with a little bit of my experience, their comfort level can vary depending on the ear sizes. The Freepods Neo comes with an IPX4 waterproof rating which makes them resistant to sweat, water splashes, and dust. Mind you the case has no waterproof rating so you need to be careful with it.

Connection And Low Latency
The Freepods Neo earpods have very solid modern connectivity. It features Bluetooth 5.3 and also supports the SBC and AAC codecs. The connection is seamless and stable you rarely experience any form of lagging. It has an impressive transmission range of 10 Meyers which is common with earpods of this price. The Low Latency mode is also cool.
This allows you to game with the earpods. With higher graphics games, to be honest you will expect lagging. The earpods do not support dual connection, so for those in search of earbuds with dual connection, you can check out the Oraimo Spacebuds. You can also connect the earpods to the Oraimo sound app. On the app, you get to explore more features.
Oraimo Freepods Neo Sound Quality
Before we go on it’s go to note that these earpods don’t have ANC, however, they still have impressive sound quality. You get an impressive bass depth and punch from a 12.4mm dynamic driver. The sound is impressive, you also get detailed Mids and highs. If you are the type that loves hip hop and Afrobeat you will truly love the sound from these pods.
Oraimo claimed to have added a feature called the Sound360 Spatial Audio. This feature helps to enhance the sound quality of the pods. It helps give you every detail from any song. You can turn on this feature on the Oraimo sound app. Lastly, if you like you can tweak the sound quality using the EQs on the sound app.

Oraimo Freepods Neo Call Quality
The Freepods Neo earpods come with two built-in microphones and some enhanced features to help you have a decent call experience. The call quality is the most impressive but it still gets the job done. My only advice here is that to enjoy an excellent call experience you just need to avoid noisy or windy surroundings.
Battery Performance
The selling point of these earpods is the battery life. The pods come with a 40mAh battery capacity while the carrying case has 600mAh. On the earpods you get a steady 7 hours of playtime on a single charge while the case gives you an additional 43 hours. Impressive right, but that’s not all. The pods feature the Oraimo Anifast fast charging technical, so with a quick ten-minute charge you can use the pods for about two hours. This feature is perfect for those on the go. Recharging takes roughly two hours and twenty minutes.
Touch Controls
The touch controls are placed at the top of the pods and they are very responsive. You can customize the touch control using the app. However, if you want to stick with the default let us help you with that.
