In 2023, we have seen a lot of smartwatches from Oraimo, the brand continues to try its best to release top affordable smartwatches for everyone. A few weeks back, the brand released a new smartwatch and it named it Oraimo Smartwatch ER. The Watch ER is an upgrade to the Oraimo Watch R series. Surprisingly, the watch is a blend of the Watch R series with a round face and a blend of the Watch ES series because of its AMOLED screen.

That’s cool right, but that’s not all. It also supports wireless calling and comes with an in-built mp3 player similar to the one of the Oraimo Watch 3 Plus. Design And Build Quality

Let’s start with the design, the Oraimo Watch ER comes with a classic round display screw. It sports a simple and fashionable design that goes well with any dress. It is made of durable plastic and has a good feel to the hands. Its straps are made from silicon and come with good-length holes to fit in any wrist size.

You can detach the strap if you want. Oraimo didn’t say anything about having a spare strap in case this one gets damaged or you want to change them. Just me saying, you can get straps that fit to the watch in stores online but sometimes it might be difficult. Flipping the watch over, you get the usual heart sensor, the Oraimo brand name, and the magnetic charging.

The watch is made using durable plastic and the watch looks sturdy but don’t drop it carelessly, this might damage it. It comes with an IP68 certification meaning can stay in water for about 30 minutes. The watch is resistant to dust and sweat and you can use water to wash the surface if the need arises. One important aspect of any smartwatch is its fitness and health features. And when it comes to that, the Oraimo Watch ER didn’t disappoint. It comes with an impressive 100+ sports modes that include both indoor and outdoor activities. Some of these include bicycling, running, walking, treadmill, etc. The Watch ER is built to meet your device’s exercise needs.

It accurately tracks all your exercise and you are at liberty to share your data on any social media platform with just a click. To the health aspect, the watch offers 24-hour health monitoring. It helps monitor heart rate, Blood oxygen rate, sleep tracking, and more. I love the sleep monitoring aspect. With a battery capacity of 300mAh, the Watch ER can last you for a while week at moderate use. This makes it a perfect companion for travelers. With that in mind, you do not have to worry about recharging the watch now and then. At maximum usage, the watch can last for about 5 days. This is because it only comes with 20 pre-installed apps.

When the watch runs down, it will take good 2 hours to get it to 100% which is decent if you ask me. Oraimo didn’t say anything about the Watch ER having fast charging technology so we can’t tell you if it has it not. The battery life is beyond average for me, since most budget-friendly smartwatches in the market don’t have much battery juice when you compare them to this.

Other Features Of The Oraimo Watch ER

Just like the Oraimo Watch 3 Plus, the Watch ER also comes with an in-built mp3 player. This means you can add music files to watch and play them directly without needing your phone. Though the storage space isn’t that huge, it still feels cool to have some of your favorite jams on your wrist.

The built-in speaker isn’t the loudest, so you will need an earbud in case you find yourself in a noisy or busy environment. Furthermore, you can control media files on your phone directly from the watch without reaching for your phone.

Other things you can do on the watch include setting alarms, using of stopwatch, finding your phone, camera remote control, and many more. The personal widget helps daily life. Beyond the fitness and health features, the Watch ER is also perfect for daily running and helps in being productive.
