Design And Build Quality
When it comes to design, you will agree with me that Oraimo does not complicate things. They always make sure to give a simple and unique design. Straight to the point and the Rhyme is no different. The charging case comes with a nice shiny black color which is beautiful to look at. The charging case comes with a Type-C charging port. Most times, Oraimo earbuds we know are fond of having their charging port at the button of the case. But this time around, Oraimo did a new thing here.
The Type-C charging port of the Oraimo Rhyme is placed at the side of the case while the reset button is at the back of the case instead of the usual position. Can this case fit in my pocket? Definitely. The charging case is small and lightweight. It can fit into your pockets and purse without anyone noticing you have an earbud in your pocket. This doesn’t have the usual Oraimo label at the front, just the LED light. Both the charging case and the earbuds, NO oraimo branding!

The earbuds are small and fit into the ears perfectly. When we tested the earpiece, we barely notice it because of its lighter weight. It doesn’t make the ear heavy like other earbuds on the market. Another feature we noticed is that, you can adjust the volume directly from the earbuds which are nice for me. It is worth to note that this is the first oraimo earbuds with volume controls on it.
Because it helps save the time of bringing out your phone to adjust the volume. Lest I forget, the Oraimo Rhyme comes with extra changeable earbud tips to suit different ear sizes. These extra buds also help you to maintain good hygiene in case you want to share your earbuds with others.

Oraimo Rhyme Sound Quality
Coming to the sound section, this Oraimo earbud features a 10 mm base dynamic enhancer, which helps to enhance the quality of the base. This gives you that thumping base. Am not scared to compare the Oraimo Rhyme with a home theater. Because of the quality of the base sound it produces. When running the test, we tried different genres of songs, and the sound quality this earbud produces was so awesome.
It did well to bring out the sound of different instruments from the song we listen to. I don’t have many words to use in describing the sound quality to you. But let me make it clear, the sound quality is totally awesome. It’s perfect for listening to live streams, watching movies, and even podcasts.
And for gamers looking for an earbud, this Oraimo earbud is a must-get for you. It comes with a low latency game mode that is as low as 45ms, this help gives you a smooth sync of game audio and video when gaming. Lastly, to immerse yourself in the music or content you listening to, just turn on the ANC (Active Noise cancellation) this feature help to suppress any form of external noise that might distract you when listening to music.
Battery Capacity And Life
One aspect I think most earbuds brands try to improve is the battery life. And we have seen a massive improvement in this section. To confirm the playing time of the Oraimo Rhyme, we put the earbud to the test by playing music at a volume level of 50%.
For about 4 hours. I noticed that the battery capacity dropped to 50% which is quite impressive. However, the Active Noise Cancellation helped to give me more playing time when I turned it off. So when I compared my test to that in the guide I found it to be the same. This means at a single charge you get a playing time of 6.5 hours while the case provides an additional 13.5 hours when you turn off the ANC.
But if the ANC is on, you get 5 hours of playtime, and the case provides an extra 10 hours. To me good enough to take you for a whole day at a single charge. Which makes the Oraimo Rhyme stand out among other earbuds.
Connectivity And Touch Control
This Oraimo earbud features the latest Bluetooth version of 5.2 which makes a connection to your phone very fast. For those who love to move around in the house or the gym, this might be a good one for you. Because this earbud has a connection range of 10 m which means you do not have to move about the house or gym with your phone. You can also connect the earbuds to your Laptops, tablets, or iPhones and it takes a few seconds for the connection to be established. That shows you that the connectivity of this earbud is very fast.
