What’s In The Box
The Oraimo smart mouse comes in the usual green and black box with the image of the mouse at the front. By the right-hand side of the box, you are going to see some of the basic features of the mouse. And at the back, you see some certification information and the warranty Terms and Condition. In the box, you find the Smart Mouse F which is the obvious item, and a user manual that most of us don’t read.
That’s all in the pack. The mouse will be using an AA dry battery and Oraimo didn’t include it in the box, which I think they should. So not including the battery is a downside for me, but it isn’t a big deal. You can order a battery at their store or get a good AA battery in any store close to you.

Design And Build Up Quality
The Oraimo Smart Mouse F sports a sleek and modern design. At the look of it, there is nothing too special about the design. Oraimo left everything simple and basic. The mouse is made from a nice plastic material that is comfortable to touch. The mouse comes in a single black color. So if you are hoping to get other colors, sorry about that. The black color is still ok because it’s dust friendly, what I mean is that, if the mouse has some dust on it you can just wipe it out, something you can’t do when it comes to other colors. And talking about the dimension, the mouse is a medium size mouse with a total weight of 82g.
So it’s a lightweight mouse that is perfect for those with small and medium palm sizes. If you are someone with a larger palm size, at first you will encounter some difficulties when using the mouse. But as you continue to use it, your palm gets used to it. The mouse comes with four buttons, the left and right click buttons, the power button which is underneath the mouse, and the DPI button. You also get the scroll pad in between the left and right buttons. When you flip the mouse over, you have an anti-slip pad that helps prevent the mouse from slipping. This help to keep the mouse in place. Lastly, you get the lightning precision indicator.

The Oraimo smart mouse is compatible with mouse devices out there. You can use it on your smartphone, laptop, and desktop. So it’s widely compatible with any device which is good for those who have more than one device at home or in the workplace.
Oraimo Smart Mouse F Setup And Connectivity
To set up the mouse, you will need to open it. To open the mouse, just slide your finger around the edge and it should open. When you open the mouse, you see four magnets that hold the top of the mouse in place. These magnets prevent it from falling off. You will also see the battery spot and a USB receiver which is by the side. Sometimes, you might find the USB receiver in the box and not in the mouse. The USB receiver is what you will use to connect the mouse to your laptop or desktop since the mouse doesn’t use a Bluetooth connection.
All you need to do is to plug in the receiver, insert an AA battery into the mouse and turn it on. You can now go ahead and begin to use it. However, if you want to connect it to a Mac or Linux laptop, you need to get a Type-C OTG or a Type-C adapter before you can connect it. As you know, most Mac laptops don’t have USB ports, so you will need to get an adapter to be able to use it on your Mac laptop. You can also connect it to your phone too, but you will need an OTG adapter for that also.
Performance
The Oraimo Smart Mouse F features strong precision control and advanced optical tracking. Which means it responds quickly to any direction you want it to move. During our test it worked perfectly fine, so we didn’t have any problems while using it. Even when we used it on smartphones it worked well. We didn’t use it for gaming or any graphics work, so we can’t tell you more about that, but if you have a question about that, you can leave it in the comment section.
Another thing we noticed is the DPI levels. It comes with a three-speed levels which are slow, medium, and fast. You can decide to switch to whatever level you want by using the DPI button. We also notice that the mouse has a power-saving mode. Oraimo didn’t say anything about that, it is from our test that we discovered that. How does the power-saving mode work? If you leave the mouse without any activity on it for about ten minutes, it’s going to freeze which we think is the power saving mode.
So don’t go feel that something is wrong with the mouse. To get it back on, just right-click or left-click and the mouse should be back on. For as good as the mouse is, one downside is the clicking sound. It is not the loudest but Oraimo would have done well on this aspect. Because if you are working quiet space, you would not want to disturb others, however, this mouse can’t help you achieve that.
