Design And Build Up Quality

The TOZO A1 boasts a design that is both simple and practical, with a sleek and clean appearance. Holding them feels great due to their cool, smooth finish that resists fingerprints. Their functionality is impressive, thanks to the smart touch features on the side. With a simple tap, you can change songs, pause playback, or even interact with your phone’s assistant without needing to reach for your phone. It’s a perfect blend of style and convenience.

Moreover, these earbuds are incredibly lightweight, each weighing only 3.7 grams. It’s almost like having nothing in your ears at all. Wearing them for extended periods is a breeze; they don’t cause any discomfort or fatigue, and they stay securely in place, which is fantastic for active moments or workouts. Plus, the TOZO A1 comes with various sizes of ear tips, allowing you to choose the ones that fit your ears perfectly for the best experience.

The carrying case is as impressive as the earbuds themselves. It’s compact and portable, making it easy to carry around. Furthermore, the case keeps the earbuds charged, ensuring they’re always ready when you need them. At the front of the case, you get four LED indicators, and at the back is the charging interface. I love the matte finish because it helps prevent stains and fingerprints.

In terms of comfort, the TOZO A1 is one of the best, in my opinion. They fit nicely in the ears, thanks to the different sizes of silicone ear tips they come with. Plus, they’re super lightweight, so you hardly feel them when wearing them. Whether you are a workout enthusiast or just a regular person who loves strolling, the TOZO earbuds stay in place, and you don’t have to worry about discomfort.

Lastly, the build quality is also worth mentioning. The material used for both the case and the buds is super skin-friendly and sturdy. Even though they’re light, they feel like they can handle whatever is thrown at them. Furthermore, the earbuds feature a waterproof rating of IPX5, which makes them capable of withstanding water splashes and sweat during workout sessions.

Sound Quality

The TOZO A1 comes equipped with tiny yet powerful 6mm dynamic drivers. These drivers help deliver incredibly clear and detailed sound. Whether it’s the deep bass or the high notes, every aspect of the audio comes through beautifully. Even at higher volumes, the sound remains crisp and distortion-free, which is better than some earbuds at the same price range.

One thing to note here is that while the highs and mids are decent, the lows are a bit weak for me. The bass is noticeable but isn’t as punchy as you would get from most earbuds. The vocals are great, and the buds do well to distinguish between instruments. You could tell the different instruments used in a song. For me, the sound is decent; it’s way beyond average, and at its price tag, it’s really good.

Call Quality

In terms of call quality, the TOZO A1 performed beyond expectations. The built-in microphone helps transmit your voice clearly to the other caller, and we hardly experienced any distortion. Though it doesn’t come with noise cancellation, it tries its best to give you crystal clear call quality. When outdoors, some noise finds its way in during calls, which is a bit annoying sometimes, but you can still hear what the other caller is saying. So, I would rate the call quality 7.5.

Connectivity

The TOZO A1 comes equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, which helps establish a quick connection between the buds and your devices. One good thing here is that the advanced Bluetooth version uses less battery life, which helps increase playtime. With a transmission range of over 10 meters, you can freely move away from your device without experiencing any form of distortion or disconnection. However, as you begin to go beyond the transmission range, you start to notice a bit of disconnection.

Battery Performance

What defines good earbuds are their sound qualities followed by their battery life. The TOZO A1 case comes with a battery capacity of 400mAh, while the earbuds come with a 40mAh capacity. On a single charge, the buds deliver 6 hours at a volume level of 50 percent. However, increasing the volume to about 60 percent brings the battery life to about 4 to 5 hours. The charging case can recharge the buds about three times. Recharging the case via the Type-C port takes roughly two hours. The battery life isn’t the best on the market, but it’s good to note that it isn’t the worst either.

Price and Availability

The TOZO A1 comes in black, blue, pink, khaki, and white. With these different colors, you have the liberty to choose the color that best suits your style. As of this writing, the A1 Mini goes for $19.99 on the official TOZO website. You can also get the earbuds on Amazon and Aliexpress.

Final Verdict

As you can see, the TOZO A1 Mini earbuds come with some highs and a few lows. The earbuds feature an impressive battery life that delivers up to 5 hours of playtime, decent sound quality, and an impressive design. The comfort level is the selling point for me; they are so small in the ears that you hardly notice you have anything on. Although the bass quality isn’t what we expected, considering the price tag, you know you are getting good earbuds for your money. I highly recommend these for those on a budget and those who want to try out earbuds for the first time.
